Fairies and woodland folk - Seek out & find our little forest friends. Make woodland homes for Fairies & Elves.
make Fairy Dew-drop or Dragon-tear bracelets, Magic Wands, Stirring-sticks & Potion Making!
Forest Adventurers - play forest games such as hide and seek, compete on the assault course, create our own piece of forest art, devise a stick character and send it on its adventure
Mini Bushcraft Party - Shelter building, fire-lighting and boiling own water for a hot drink and many more bush-crafting skills learned! We run a Younger & an Older version of this.
Nature explorers - Explore the nature in the woods by taking part in a scavenger hunt, spot the cuckoo, listen for and identify the bird song, go bug hunting and look for natures signs.
Each party involves practitioner led activity/activities for an hour, then children are left to explore the woods and take advantage of our surroundings (and mud kitchen) while food is prepared on the fire. Food and drinks are then served while we sing camp fire songs, or roast marshmallows, and then children are free to play and create and do as they please. We encourage tree climbing and risky play all under correct supervision.
